- Nils Lofgren is taking some time off to recover from double hip replacement. He expects to be ready to tour with Bruce Springsteen in the spring.
- Frank Cassel has recently posted a new song, "Keep Me Up On MySpace When I'm Gone," on his MySpace page, www.myspace.com/banjomanfrankcassel. The MP3 is now available for download on iTunes, CD Baby and other internet stores. For more info: banjomanfc@aol.com
- Jeff Miller has signed a management deal with Marucci Artist Management. Some of their local artists include The Niki Barr Band and Foster Child. Also Jeff's Debut single hit the charts at 180 out of 340 its first week reported on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart.
- Dr. Laura Mann, Concert/Opera Artist and Professor of Voice at George Mason University, has had several of her recorded tracks purchased by Warner Brothers for use in their film/media programs/projects. Visit her website at: http://mason.gmu.edu/~lmann1 to read about her bio and work.
- The Bad Influence Band has been chosen to perform at the 2009 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA by the Epiphone Guitar Company on January 17th, 2009. This is their third NAMM show appearance. Other artists on the show are Puddle of Mudd, Duke Robillard, Dave Specter, Steve Freund and Archer. Bad Influence was one of the featured performers at the 2008 Winter NAMM show, at the Epiphone Guitar Company's Heart and Soul show featuring the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Heart.
- Davey Yarborough is on a CNN segment, also featuring Wynton Marsalis, which highlights Davey's musical achievements and will be aired until November 16th.
